Freezer Warm - Compressor Cuts Off on Overload	Heavy usage and/or high ambient Compressor Not Starting due to Locked Compressor, (Hear a Hum a couple of seconds, then click, then repeat after a minute or two) Check overload and Relay, Can try Hardstart Kit , May unstick compressor, No Guarantee though ..... Restricted condenser air Compressor machine compartment back cover is missing Cabinet elevated off floor Condenser fan motor inoperative Condenser fan blade loose or missing Improper voltage Relay or overload faulty Compressor motor winding open Non-condensables in system Overcharge	Newer Style Compressor Relay Have seen several failures in this relay remove relay from compressor and shake Listen for rattling sound is so, relay is bad. HardStart Kit is a Combination Relay, Overload, & Start Capacitor. This May or May Not Unstick Stuck compressors. No Guarantees that this will unstick it. You cannot return this part. I have seen this Kit used in place of the original relay and overload.

Too Warm in Refrigerator	Refrigerator setting too warm Damper doesn't open Freezer control set too warm Supply air duct blocked Return air duct blocked Heavy usage or high ambient temperature Light on constantly Also see REFRIGERATOR DEFROST CYCLE DIAGNOSIS	If your refrigerator has a ice maker like this the defrost timer is built into the ice maker. To advance it look on the back side of the ice maker head for a white plastic slot. A screwdriver fits in that slot allowing you to turn and advance the defrost timer.
