Dishwasher will not complete a cycle.
  • Check the timer for proper operation
  • Check timer switch leads to timer motor
  • Compare timer with sequence chart on wiring diagram
  • Make sure all leads to the timer are secure and tight
  • Some models have a thermostat. Check to make sure it is in contact with the tub.
Dishwasher will not drain.
  • Check for hose kinks or food plugging drain hose.
  • Check pump impeller for damage
  • Check pump motor for reversing during the pump out
  • Check timer
  • If you have recently installed a new garbage disposal, check knock-out plug at connection.
  • Check the check valve for a blockage
Dishwasher will not fill with water
  • Check float switch or float.
  • Check the timer to make sure the contacts are closed for water fill valve.
  • Check the water supply tube for blockage.
  • Check water supply valve. There should be 110 volts to the coil.
  • Check the water inlet valve. Replace if you're not getting enough water. 
Dishwasher will not get the dishes clean.
  • Check pump recirculation filter
  • Check the Water Inlet Valve , Make sure you're getting enough water for the pump to spray. At the end of the fill cycle it should fill the bottom of the tank to just below the heating element. If not, replace the water inlet valve.
  • Check the spray arm for splits or leaks.
  • Check the water temperature. Should be 135 to 160 F.
  • Check to make sure dishwasher is draining after each cycle. There should only be a little water in the bottom of the tub.
  • Check water level when the fill cycle has completed. Should be barely touching, or just under the float.
  • Make sure the dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not overloaded.
  • Check that the tube to top rack hasn't come loose
  • Check the plastic ring at the top of the wash arm support, make sure it's not blocking the water from getting to the lower wash arm
  • Try a different detergent. We suggest a powder.
Dishwasher will not run at all.
  • Check connections from power cord to terminal block.
  • Check door switch for action and continuity
  • Check power at outlet. Should read 110 volts.
  • Check the timer for power
  • Check the Door Switch Actuator
Water leaks from the bottom of the dishwasher.
  • Check for cracks or rusted through in the tub.
  • Check the float switch seal.
  • Check the heater element where it enters the tub. There are gaskets that sometimes leaks.
  • Check the hose clamps.
  • Check the hoses for leaks.
  • Check the seal in the pump
  • Check the Top rack rollers for coming loose from the tub and water running down the outside of the tub.
  • Check the door Gasket
  •  
Water leaks from the door.
  • Check corner seals and bottom dam seal
  • Check door seal
  • Check for loose or bent door latch
  • Check for over filling. This could be from flaot switch. The water should never or barely reach float. The float switch is for overflow.
  • Check the spray arm for a split. If water sprays directly at the bottom of door, it will create a leak.
Dishwasher is Noisy
  • Check the bearings in the motor
  • Check for debris in the pump
  • Check the kick panel for rattling 
Dishwasher makes gurgling noise in sink while washing
  • Check the flap in the check valve if stuck open or damaged, replace the check valve.
Program Buttons do not pop out
  • Check / Replace the program Switch
Soap Dish will not open Adjust / Check the soap dish bi-Metal 

Make sure the dishwasher is getting enough water to put enough amp draw on the motor which effects the amp draw on the Bi-Metal

The Bi-Metal should draw around 5 amps.

Check for burnt spots on the Bi-Metal

Door falls or feels too heavy Check / Replace Door Springs
