This Ice Maker is a GE / Hotpoint Round Style Ice Maker. It makes round ice cubes. There are pretty much three things that go wrong with these units. 1. The unit leaks water towards the back by the fill funnel which can be a fill funnel problem or even check that the tube that goes into the fill funnel hasn't come loose. 2. They leak water out of the Pad Shaft 3. The leaf switch goes bad in them. If they leak back by the fill funnel just build a small dam using silicone around the fill funnel. If they leak water out of the Pad Shaft it will need a new shaft and pad seal kit which will require special tools to install If the leaf switch goes bad just replace it. |
